![]() | Nadine - Strange Seasons | |
| Location | Originally St. Louis, Missouri. | |
| Initial Impression | Sounds like The Wallflowers and somewhat R.E.M. | |
| Notable Lyric | "Six pack and a windowpane, kickin' it to the rain. Watching the world melt away. A couple of years gone by, I've got a groove on but I never expected to feel this way." - "Bad at Goodbyes" | |
| Factoid | This group are labelmates with Liz Phair. | |
| Serve With | A healthy dose of college radio. | |
| Comments | All in all, I found Strange Seasons to be an excellent record. The musicianship and the unique voice come together beautifully. Although if you prefer fast paced and energetic music, do not look here. This album is certainly slower and more laid back than many that dominate mainstream music today. If that is your thing, pick up this record. I guarantee you will not be disappointed! | |
